
Eucalyptus macrocarpa is a species of mallee type eucalyptus native to southwestern Western Australia and renowned for its large, showy flowers.
It grows between 0.8 and 5 meters in height. The silver-gray leaves are oval or elliptical, sessile and up to 12 cm long and 8 cm wide. The red, pink or cream flowers up to 100 mm in diameter appear from early spring to summer and from late autumn to early winter.
