Hemerocallis Hybride

The name of Daylily, (Hemerocallis in botanical language) comes from the Greek hemero: a day and kallo: beauty. We can therefore poetically call it “beauty for a day”. It is a bulbous, hardy perennial plant, native to central Europe and temperate regions of Asia, which flowers in summer. Many strains have been developed in Japan, where she is very popular.
