Ficus lyrata is a species of fig tree in the Moraceae family. She is originally from West Africa. Its habitat ranges from western Cameroon to Sierra Leone in tropical rainforest.
It is a common ornamental tree in tropical and subtropical gardens, sometimes used as a houseplant.
