The four-season mimosa or summer mimosa (Acacia retinodes Schltr.), sometimes called resinous mimosa, is a small tree of the Fabaceae family.
As its name suggests, it can flower at several times of the year.
It also has the particularity of supporting calcareous soils, unlike most other species, hence its frequent use as a rootstock.
