Ophrys Apiferais

Ophrys bee (Ophrys apifera) is a European terrestrial orchid.
Flowering occurs in the Mediterranean basin from April – May to July depending on the subspecies, from May in the more northern regions.

This species is found in full light or in partial shade, on mainly calcareous soils, in lawns, scrubland, scrub, light woods, short meadows, rockeries, embankments, dunes, and also at the edge of the roads. Up to 1,500 meters above sea level.
