Nephrolepis

Nephrolepis exaltata is a species of fern of the Dryopteridaceae family (or those of the Nephrolepidaceae, or other families according to the authors).

She is from America: Florida, Mexico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Brazil and French Guiana.

It can be naturalized elsewhere. It is grown as an ornamental plant, especially indoors (the Nephrolepis being then called “Boston Ferns”). It is one of the plants considered as depolluting.
