Fargesia rufa bamboo belongs to the Poaceae family (formerly the grasses). Fargesia Rufa is a plant native to southern China. This bamboo quickly acclimatized to all continents. It is made up of a main stem called culm. Numerous compound leaves grow from the latter. Bamboo has no branches and each leaf is made up of several leaflets. These are long and thin, dark green in color. The foliage is dense and evergreen.
