Begonia pendula is a species of flowering plant in the Begoniaceae family. This begonia is native to Malaysia. The species is part of the section Petermannia. It was described in 1906 by Henry Nicholas Ridley (1855-1956). The specific epithet pendula means “pendulous”, alluding to the drooping habit of this plant.
